What is Wellesley Summer Theatre Company? Wellesley Summer Theatre Company is a professional company in residence at Wellesley College. Founded in 1998 by Artistic Director, Nora Hussey, we started with one production a year. The following year Wellesley Summer Theatre for Children was founded. Currently we are producing four shows a year. The company is made up of professional actors from Boston and New York.
Do you perform only during the summer?  No, but the majority of our productions are done during our summer season. This year we are producing two summer productions. We traditionally also produce one winter show. Fall of 2004 we co-produced a show with Centastage downtown.
 How do I get tickets?  You can call the box office at (781) 283-2000 and leave a message for tickets. This call confirms your reservation, and you will be able to pick up your tickets at least 15 minutes before the show starts. Or you can order tickets by clicking here. You will be able to order tickets via a third party web site. Tickets ordered through the web have a $1 per ticket service charge. Please plan to pick up your tickets at least 15 minutes before the show starts.  How can I pay for my tickets? If you order your tickets on the phone, you can pay for your tickets with cash or check when you pick them up at the box office at least 15 minutes before the show starts. If you order your tickets on the web, you will be asked to pay with credit card when you purchase your tickets.  Can I reserve a particular seat? All of our tickets are general admission. The Ruth Nagel Jones Theatre is a black box style theatre. The Barstow Stage is a large, traditional style theatre.  Do you have group rates? Yes, please call the box office at (781) 283-2000 or email us for more information.
 Where do I park? There is ample free parking in the Davis covered parking structure adjacent to the theatre.
 Is the theatre MBTA accessible? Yes.   Is the theatre wheelchair accessible? Yes. If you have any questions regarding disability services please contact jwice@wellesley.edu.  Is the theatre air conditioned? The Ruth Nagel Jones is air conditioned. The Barstow stage is not.
